A friendly hypnotherapist who cares about you and helping you overcome your fears and phobias. I'm a fully qualified clinical hypnotherapist and NLP Practitioner.

I decided to specialise in working together with people who suffer from fears and phobias that hold them back in their lives.

For many years I had a phobia of being out in public in groups of people, or talking in front of groups. This affected me greatly in every day life. I suffered from panic attacks and anxiety, it was difficult for me to go the supermarket or into town shopping. I would feel overwhelmed, my heart was racing and I felt like I was going to faint. It affected my studies when I was younger as I couldn't stand in front of the class to speak, which either meant I received a lower grade than I was capable of or failed tests entirely.

I eventually found hypnotherapy after I decided to do a speech at my own wedding. I was terrified at the the thought of it and knew I needed help to overcome this problem once and for all. It was the best decision I ever made! The sessions were so life changing for me I decided I had to train as a hypnotherapist so I could help others.

 

What is a phobia?

Most specific phobias fall into one of four major categories:

  • Fears of the natural environment

  • Fears related to animals

  • Fear related to medical treatments or issues

  • Fears related to specific situations

  • A phobia is a type of anxiety disorder. It is an extreme form of fear or anxiety triggered by a particular situation (such as going outside) or object (such as spiders), even when there is no danger.

  • For example, you may know that it is safe to be out on a balcony in a high-rise block, but feel terrified to go out on it or even enjoy the view from behind the windows inside the building. Likewise, you may know that a spider isn’t poisonous or that it won’t bite you, but this still doesn’t reduce your anxiety.

  • Someone with a phobia may even feel this extreme anxiety just by thinking or talking about the particular situation or object.

Once you've had your free chat we will find a date in the diary to book in for your first online session, which lasts around 90 minutes.

We will discuss your phobia in detail before any work is done under hypnosis, ensuring the issue is thoroughly understood in order for it to be dealt with effectively.

Most of the phobia work is done at the first session. This one will be used to check in on your progress and offer additional hypnotherapy to ensure all aspects of the problem are gone once and for all. Promoting a feeling of confidence and happiness, ready to get on with your life.

After your sessions are completed you will receive a personalised hypnotherapy track to listen to at home, whenever you need it.
